Come think with other museum professionals.

Museum professionals are expected to navigate complex projects, competing priorities, limited capacity, shifting expectations, and cross-departmental work.

They are rarely given enough space to step back and think together about how that work is happening.

The Museum Project Circle is a free monthly facilitated conversation for museum professionals managing projects, teams, initiatives, and organizational change.

It is part professional learning community, part peer exchange, and part project problem-solving lab for the field.

Bring your project challenge

Each session begins with real questions and situations submitted by participants.

We might explore:

  • How do we manage competing priorities when everything feels urgent?

  • How do we clarify roles without creating unnecessary bureaucracy?

  • How do we improve collaboration across departments

  • How do we introduce a new tool without overwhelming staff?

  • How do we adapt project management to museums rather than forcing museums into a corporate model?

Format

  • Monthly

  • 90 mins

  • Live on Zoom

  • Free to attend

  • Open to museum, academic, and cultural professionals at every career stage

Participants contribute their perspectives and experience. I guide the discussion, connect recurring themes, ask questions, and introduce practical frameworks when useful.

This is not a webinar. It will be a place to examine the work with people who understand it and learn from each other.
